Teen Charged With Shooting Driver Who Crashed Into Worcester House

A 16-year-old was arrested and charged with shooting a driver last month causing them to crash into a home in Worcester, authorities said.

The teen, whose name was not released because of his age, is charged with armed assault to murder, possession of a loaded firearm without a license, and possession of ammunition without an FID card, Worcester police said. 

The crash happened just after 9 p.m. on April 30, when a car slammed into a home on Paine Street. The driver was suffering from a gunshot wound, causing the wreck. 

Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries, police said.
